Here’s our Full Movie Review of Drive Starring Sushant Singh Rajput and Jacqueline Fernandez.
Cast: Jacqueline Fernandez, Sushant Singh Rajput, Vikramjeet Virk, Sapna Pabbi, Boman Irani, and Pankaj Tripathi
Directed By – Tarun Mansukhani
Runtime – 2 Hours
Put your seat belts on as Sushant Singh Rajput and Jacqueline Fernandez’s Drive has finally started streaming on Netflix. A long time in the making, Drive brings together the two stars for the first time. The romance between two very good-looking actors, car chase sequences, peppy songs to Dharma Productions, Drive has all the elements that a film requires to be blockbuster but it misses the finish line with a huge margin.
Drive is basically the Kalank of Netflix. If there’s anything below worst then that’ll be this movie. Humshakals & Himmatwala are much much better than this senseless movie.
Sushant Singh Rajput tries too hard to look cool but ends up looking awkward. That’s unfortunate as he’s such a talented performer. Jacqueline Fernandez in fact does way better and looks convincing as the head of the gang. Sapna Pabbi leaves a huge mark and looks gorgeous. Vikramjeet Virk is decent. Boman Irani and Pankaj Tripathi are very entertaining. Vibha Chibber is decent.
The Entire Story & the twists are predictable right at the beginning itself. The use of VFX is Rubbish as everything looks entirely fake. 2nd Half Suddenly becomes an animated movie. Chota Bheem has better animation than this. I think I have seen the worst animation/VFX possible by a Bollywood movie. The graphics while playing Asphalt 8 looks 1000% much better than the Climax-Car chase Sequences in this movie.
Drive is a total waste of time. Thankfully not money, Makers took a good decision to release it on Netflix.
(Giving half star only and only for the Song (Makhna) that too they have shot entirely using GoPro.)
Helmed by Tarun Mansukhani and produced by Karan Johar under the banner of Dharma Productions, Drive also stars Sapna Pabbi and Vikramjeet Virk. On the release of its trailer, several social media users found Drive’s storyline similar to Dhoom. Looking at the response to Drive, it should be considered whether filmmakers need to be more conscious before putting anything and everything on streaming platforms.
Our rating – 0.5 / 5 (WORST FILM EVER MADE) don’t watch this movie at all.
Sushant Singh Rajput was last seen in Chhichhore, the movie worked wonders at the box office. After Drive, the actor will feature in the official remake of The Fault in our Star. Directed by Mukesh Chhabra, the movie is titled Dil Bechara. The film will mark the debut of actor Sanjana Sanghi who has been a part of movies like Fukrey and Rockstar.
While Jacqueline Fernandez will be seen in Kick 2 and Netflix’s Mrs. Serial Killer.
