For quite some time, rumours of Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan making his Bollywood debut has been doing the rounds. Interestingly, the news is finally confirmed, but there is a twist. Aryan is indeed making his debut but not as an actor. The young lad will be lending his voice to ‘The Lion King’s Simba. And the best thing is that Shah Rukh will be doing the voice over of Lion Mufasa in the said film’s Hindi version.

Now isn’t this great news? Shah Rukh teaming up with his son Aryan is indeed the best piece of news that any of his fans will come across today.

Yesterday, during the India Vs Pakistan match in the ongoing ICC World Cup, Shah Rukh and Aryan were seen sporting personalized Indian jerseys with the names – Mufasa and Simba written on its back. Interestingly, yesterday was Father’s Day and marking the occasion, Shah Rukh shared a picture with son Aryan. The actor captioned it as, “Ready for the match with the spirit of #FathersDay. Go India Go!!”

And today morning, film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh confirmed the news of SRK and Aryan being a part of ‘The Lion King’.

Lending their voice to the iconic father-son duo from the animated classic ‘The Lion King’ must be quite exciting for this real-life father-son duo. ‘The Lion King’ will hit the silver screens on July 19, 2019. For those who are not aware, SRK and Aryan had also lent their voice to the Hindi version of ‘The Incredibles’ that released in 2004.

Shah Rukh was last seen in Aanand L Rai’s ‘Zero’. Post that film, the actor hasn’t announced his next project yet.
