Arjun Kapoor and Rakul Preet Singh team up for a coming-of-age cross-border film.

After having a successful collaboration in ‘Satyameva Jayate’ reports state that Bhushan Kumar, Nikkhil Advani, and John Abraham will be coming together once again for a family dramedy that will star Arjun Kapoor and Rakul Preet Singh in the lead role. The project is yet untitled.

According to a report by Mumbai Mirror, talking about the movie Nikhil said that the movie is a coming of- age, cross-border love story, beautifully written by Anuja Chauhan, Amitosh Nagpal, and Kaashvie. It will be shot extensively in Punjab and Los Angeles and will feature Arjun and Rakul in never-seen-before avatars. The makers will be locking the film’s title and the release date soon.

Talking about being a part of the film, Arjun Kapoor shared, “I have grown up in a joint family so I understood that it’s the biggest pillar of love, strength, and support. That’s the essence of our film, which has its heart in the right place. I’m having a blast even during the prep.” About Rakul Preet he said, “She is a beautiful, instinctive and generous co-star.”

Bhushan, who is co-producing the film with Nikkhil, added that the project, which is in the final stages of preparations, is scheduled to go on floors this month and promised that the feature film will be thoroughly enjoyed by the audience of every age group. “It sums up our everyday experiences and relationships with our families. The audiences will definitely enjoy it,” Bhushan told.

Meanwhile, Arjun will be seen in ‘Panipat’ that also stars Sanjay Dutt and Kriti Sanon. The movie is based on the third battle of Panipat and it is scheduled to hit the theatres on December 6.
