After over 25 years, the hit team of Ilzaam, Shola Aur Shabnam and Aankhen – producer Pahlaj Nihalani and Govinda – are all set to team up for Rangeela Raja.
Govinda will be seen in a double role in the film and will portray four distinct characters in it. The film will co-star Mishika Chourasia, Anupama Agnihotri and Digangana Suryavanshi and will be set in Rajasthan.
In the poster, a mustached Govinda, dressed in a colorful shirt and sporting a pair of black glares and a neck chain, looks like a typical Bollywood masala hero.

Govinda, who was one of the biggest superstars of the ‘90s, has been having a dry run at the box-office for the last many years. His multiple films released in the past four-five years have failed miserably at the box-office. Kill Dill, Deewana Main Deewana, and Happy Ending are among those films.
Interestingly, Aa Gaya Hero, that released last year, was also touted as his comeback film. The film had no takers in the cinemas.
Govinda’s next release is Abhishek Dogra-directed FryDay that co-stars Varun Sharma and Digangana Suryavanshi. The comedy film, bankrolled by Inbox Pictures, is slated to hit the screens on October 12.
For those who don’t know, Ilzaam (1986), produced by Nihalani, was Govinda’s first full-fledged role in Bollywood.
