Released amidst protests and controversies, Deepika Padukone and Vikrant Massey’s film ‘Chhapak’ is slowly but steadily progressing at the box office. The film has collected the most on the third day as compared to the first day. On the first day the film did a business of 4.77 crores, while on the second day the film showed a growth of 30 to 40%. The film collected around 6.90 crores on the second day.
On the third day, the film earned more than both days. The film grossed Rs 7-7.50 crores on the third day. With this, the collection of ‘Chhapak’ reached about Rs 18.50 crore in three days. The film is expected to cross 20 crores mark on the fourth day. Although the film is not able to make as good a collection as was expected before its release, the film continues to be strong at the box office, considering the increasing collection every day.
Although the box office collection of the film may be increasing a bit less, but all those who have seen this film are not tired of praising it. Deepika and Vikrant’s acting in the film is being appreciated.
Before the release of ‘Chhapak’, Deepika Padukone reached JNU to support the students, after which she was fiercely opposed. After Deepika’s visit to JNU, angry people demanded to buy her film.
